My Dream, My Future

Everyone of us has an aspiration that craves fulfillment.

As I step to a higher level of education, my thirst to success appeals more. I visualize the figure of my castle as an enormous, firm and beautiful one.

The philosophy of Aristotle goes this way, "The roots of education are bitter but the fruit is sweet." I compare it to my four years of hard works in the portals of my Alma Matter, ISNHS. I sweat the biggest, I spent most of my time rushing projects, doing my assignments and reviewing for my examinations, and NOW---I soon to receive my diploma, the fruit for all those hard days. :)

I dream to finish my studies, have a stable profession and help my family to step out from poverty. I dream to own a beautiful house, sport cars, condo unit and other stuffs. I dream to have a complete family wherein every member has a good bonding.

Attempt the impossible, that is my philosophy.

I dream the best for my bright future! :)

The CHANGE in me :)

It is easy to say "AKO ANG MAGSISIMULA NG PAGBABAGO" but are you really sincere of what you are saying or are you aware of what your "AKO ANG SIMULA" necklace symbolizes? Perhaps no, maybe yes or you don't care at all.

Our nation needs a GREAT change, a wake up alarm in the management of the government, in the society and to the abused mother Earth.

Who will first start that change. He?She?They? Each of us pinpoints a finger to somebody else.

Why not just answer I instead?AKO!AKO!AKO!

Motivation starts with oneself. Discipline yourself first before digging deeper what leadership is. Do it by yourself first so that others will be inspired to do the same.

As a student how can I start the change in myself?
Many ways---be a responsible, disciplined and active fellow. Follow the regulations in school, do your obigations in your houses or with your studies concern. Be a polite individual. And was able to stand with your principles, fight for right.

Possessing all these characters?
You are now entitled to sat "AKO ANG MAGSISIMULA NG PAGBABAGO!" And share to others what you discovered and developed with in yourself.

Third Grading was Over :)

Learning comes in different ways. It can be in oral, written or in hands-on form. Whatever it takes there are only two important things that must bear in one's mind. First, 'we learned' and second we know how to apply those things that we have learned.

Tik!tak! Time is running out and third grading was over. Have I made it worthwhile? I certainly agree. Each meetings developed my skill and widened my knowledge regarding html, the tabs that were used and ofcourse the Frontpage 2003 workspace. We explored the Frontpage with the guide of the activity our subject teacher had given us. We made used of our Research work before entitled "The History of Vigan". We also got pictures from the internet to make our work more presentable.

That ends our third quarter yet there is one more quarter to go...

Hala! It's the Ghost Month

It's the eleventh month of the year! I am excited about it(since my special day is in the month of November!sssshh :])

Back to business, when we speak of this month, maybe or definitely the first thing that pops in our minds is our relatives that passed away. Well kinda right but there's a lot of things to celebrate aside from this.
Like in our school, the Values Club which is assigned for this month sponsored activities namely kiteflying, essay writing contest, sayawit, quiz bee, etc. with its theme "Pagpapatibay sa Pagkataong Pilipino: Tugon sa Hamon ng Panahon" Not to forget the Science Club as well, with the help of the active officers they made it possible that the students interact and join the contests regarding Investigatory Project display, quiz bee, pageant( search for Mutya ng Kalikasan).

These awesome activities encourage us to move out from the shell where we are hiding from. It helps us to develop our self-esteem and build a strong confidence.

This just tell that November is one of the busiest month of the year . That's all...

CHRISTMAS FOR ALL :)

Cold breeze! Bells rang accompanied by the sweet voices of children singing on the street. Houses shone with brightness as the smell of the delicious delicacies noche buena sought one's nose.

Everyday is Christmas in everyone's heart. We share what we have especially to those who are in need. We show our genuine love, we give without waiting anything in return. We forgive those who once hurt us, we apologize to those we hurt badly. We are as one, act as one and rejoice as one. We make a good bonding, loud laughters, sweet smile and immeasurable happiness. We cheer to the top of our voices and ask for the guidance of the Lord.
Stare up sky! Imagine a hundred of nations all over the world unite this 25th day of December to uplift the spirit of Jesus birth. LOVE reigns the EARTH. FORGIVENESS dominate HATRED. LAUGHTERS dissolves each tear. SMILE smoothens FROWN. The spirit of Christmas spills our unending Love.

Make a Difference!

Be a keen observer to the world we are living with. A great CHANGE, isn’t it?

From a well not civilized society, we are now trying to enter a hi-tech world through the inventions and discoveries of science of course. Nowadays the flow of the production of the products is from version to version as well as from low quality to new ones in the market.

The hindrance between before and now is the changes we’ve known as for now. In fact the right term must be metamorphosis or evolution of the science culture because it didn’t change for nothing or with out a basis. The old ones are just revived, improvised and adapt to better ones for the benefit of the society. Like in communication, it takes time before from different places to get in touch with others and it is through letter. It is somehow awkward right? It seems so hard to cope with such flow and I doubt if we can adjust ourselves to a very slow communication especially we are used to a convenient conversation which takes a seconds or minutes via e-mail through internet or chatting through cell phones. However the technologies mentioned above have a resemblance to the old type of communication, do you agree?

We must be thankful to the advancement of science to the things we have now yet these are still part of science culture. And it is also overwhelming to know how genius man is in adapting these for a better world.

Wikang Filipino, Mula Baler hanggang Buong Bansa

Our country is known to be an archipelago comprises of thousands of islands. Different ethnic groups and tribes live here with their respective dialects. Even though the distance seems to be the hindrance of the islands to act as one, we Filipinos find a way to overcome this dilemma. And we must be thankful to the late president Manuel L. Quezon who is the founder of our national language, Filipino. Through the language that he introduced from his place, Baler and spread out to whole nation, we were able to understand each other, see? It helps a lot in the communication. It tightens our bound and we unite as one body.

As an honor to the good deeds of the founder, our school and our country set that August is the “Buwan ng Wika”, different activities were conducted in relation to this. We keep on using, patronizing our very own language because it serves as our identity to the neighborhood countries. We must be proud and say
“I am a natural born Pilipino and it is a pleasure to use the language of my native land!!”
